Last week, as a result of the words of a British Formula One race car driver and the writings of a celebrated Dutch landscape designer, I had a Missouri gardening epiphany. I figured out that to bring both vitality and tranquility to a garden, motion has to be an intentional element of the design. ( See: Designing Your Landscape with Motion in Mind, March 18, 2021) While there are many plants that can movement to the garden, these ten are easy to grow, readily available and provide pure grace in motion.
